what is austin life college?

A specific demographic of Austin Life Church focused on contextually leading college students to life in Jesus. Austin Life College is NOT an isolated ministry or isolated church, but is a part of the whole body of Austin Life Church.

Austin Life College exists to lead students to life in Jesus by:

• Making disciples among college students.

• Investing in the overall good of college students.

• Building college students up in Christ.

• Equipping, developing, and sending Christian leaders to all people in all places.

Why Austin Life College?

We believe that if you reach the campus, you reach the world. The college years are perhaps the most influential years in someone’s life, and also in shaping the culture of our world. This season of life is a unique blend of curiosity, openness, time, ability, passion, personal growth, and concern for making a difference. What if we as Christians leveraged these years to seek first the Kingdom of God?! What could happen when hundreds of students give their lives to Jesus?! Where could it go from here?!

Each university desires to be a diverse leader producing, sending, and world changing organization. What if during those years God grabbed ahold of the life of those students, those hundreds and thousands of leaders, and sent them out first and foremost with the mission of God into all areas of the world? 

• The business centers of New York could be influenced with the Gospel.

• The sales branch of a company in Tokyo could be influenced with the Gospel.

• The middle school in DC could be influenced with the Gospel.

• Church plants and international missions can expand around the world.

If we reach the campus for Christ, you can see how the world would encounter Christ as well. We believe the church needs college students, and college students need the church. The whole body of Christ and the Kingdom of God benefits. We believe the future of church planting and missions is on our campus right now. 

Therefore, having a contextualized aim of Austin Life Church towards this end is essential in the mission of God and of our mission to lead people to life in Jesus.
