what is austin life college?

Austin Life College are college students at Austin Life Church who are committed to the whole body of Austin Life Church, are committed to helping one another become more like Jesus, and committed to reaching other college students with the hope and life of Jesus. 

Austin Life College is not an isolated ministry, but is best when an integrated part of the whole body of Austin Life. There just happens to be some intentional focus to this specific season of life. 

Why Austin Life College?

We believe if you reach the campus, you reach the world. The college years are some of the most influential years in a person’s life, and also in shaping the culture of our world. What if we as Christians leveraged these years to seek first the Kingdom of God?! What if we leveraged the college  years as a spring board into taking Christ to all parts of the world?  

We believe the church needs college students, and college students need the church. The whole body of Christ and the Kingdom of God benefits. We believe the future of church planting and missions is on our campus right now. 

Therefore, having a contextualized aim of Austin Life Church towards this end is essential in the mission of God and of our mission to lead people to life in Jesus.

WHAT DOES AUSTIN LIFE COLLEGE DO?

In short, everything that Austin Life does. There just happens to be some more college-specific opportunities.
- College Community Group
- Discipleship Groups with older mentors
- College retreats, mission trips, serving opportunities 
- College social hangs 

WHAT WOULD IT LOOK LIKE TO MAKE THE MOST OF MY COLLEGE YEARS WHILE AT AUSTIN LIFE?

While this is not the only pathway, we believe this is a solid pathway of growth and development for college students.
